Terms of Use for DishMarket
Last updated: September 7, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the DishMarket mobile application (the "App"), developed and published by ArnoHealth S.L. ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store from which you obtained it.
2. What DishMarket provides
DishMarket uses an on-device visual model to suggest the identity of a photographed food and provides recipes from a local editorial catalogue. You must confirm or correct the suggested ingredient before recipes are shown. Recognition results and recipes are informational aids and may contain errors.
3. Food safety, allergies, and health
The App does not provide medical, dietary, or professional food-safety advice. You are responsible for checking ingredients, allergies, intolerances, freshness, preparation, cooking temperatures, portions, and suitability for your circumstances. Never rely solely on visual recognition to identify an ingredient that may present a health or safety risk.
4. Model download and offline operation
An internet connection is required to download the visual model files. After that download, photo analysis and the recipe catalogue are designed to work locally. Availability of the initial download may depend on the third-party hosting service and your network connection.
5. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by the DishMarket Privacy Policy. Photos and recognition results are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us.
6. Intellectual property and open-source components
DishMarket's original software, design, and editorial content are owned by ArnoHealth S.L. or its licensors. The App also uses third-party software and model components under their respective licences, including SmolVLM and llama.cpp. Their notices and licence terms remain applicable and are available within the App or its accompanying notices.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the App, interfere with its operation, circumvent applicable security measures, or redistribute proprietary portions of the App except where an applicable open-source licence expressly permits it.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, recognition accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. ArnoHealth S.L. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes and termination
We may update the App or these Terms as functionality and legal requirements evolve. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. The courts of Barcelona, Spain will have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
